Hey
Kids,
Wow, what an amazing Tuesday night. Dani Marie, awesome as usual, Mike
Fitch, with his stunning electric blues set wailing like Ahab, Even the
Res, bustin cherries, kickin ass, takin names, and of course Soraia
rocked all the boxes in the room with their closing set.
Thanks so much everyone, and thanks to all of you who came out to watch
the show, especially Ron from Head who sat in with us for a short set
in the absence of Sensaii Jay Bones who is in Texas looking for his
lost bike in the basement of the Alamo.
We're selling bus tickets like McDonald's sells hamburgers so if you
want to come to NYC on December 9th you'll have to meet up with a band
member and give them 25 bucks. And if you can't get a band member
outside during the daytime, tickets are available every Tuesday at the
Grape. This week, come out and see Souls on Ice, Mike Fitch, Anthony
Renzulli Band, and our homies in Head slay audiences with their tasty
licks and sultry vocals. $3.00 you call it's make it a weekly getaway
from the night before hump day.

November 1st, 2006
Hello
Guys and Ghouls,
Thanks to EVERYONE who came out last night. The rough count at the door
was about 150 people on a Tuesday, mostly in costume. You guys killed
it. Thanks to Funkwater, Starskream, Anthony Renzulli Band, Adam
Monaco, and homie Mike Fitch for rocking everyones faces until there
was skin all over the floor. You all made our fourth annual Halloween
bash as awesome as it could have been. Thanks again.
As for November, we're going to be keeping it semi-low key. While still
trying to get out of the city a little, we're only playing Philly on
Tuesdays. So your only chance to see four hours of awesomely acoustic
music is to come to the Grape every stinkin Tuesday.
Don't forget, NEW YORK CITY!!!! December 9th we shove off, 364 days
after our first NYC trip to that same lovely club: The Bitter End. We
hit the stage at 11pm but the bus will be shoving off around 6pm from
the Oregon Diner parking lot. Tickets are 25 bucks and available from
all band members. YOU ARE NOT ON THIS BUS UNTIL YOU PAY A BAND MEMBER.
Only 46 tickets available so hurry up.
See you Tuesday,
Fat City Reprise

around 9 pm thats right NINE PM, an early night for us but we will be
staying all night and drinking until it hurts with Unkie Jaxon so come
early and stay late. THERE IS NO COVER and the band lineup is amazing.
A must go show if there ever was one.

Hola
Mis Amigos,
Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the Grape last night, it was
our best week yet. The place was on the verge of packed with the
Anthony Renzulli Band, Shane, Starskream, Mike Fitch, and Head, who did
a Tool cover with Jaxon from WMMR (awesome), all giving some of their
best performances we've ever seen. Thank you to everyone who helped
make that night one of our best.
As you may have noticed, we're playing Juno's Sports Bar in
Collegeville, PA this Friday. Our boys from Not Alone hooked the show
up and it promises to be a splendid evening. Don't be scared to leave
the safety of downtown Philadelphia and come brave the wilderness with
us.
And don't forget, not only will we be at Grape Street this Tuesday
(10/24) with Dani Mari, Souls on Ice, Mike Fitch, and Soraia, but we
ARE having our FOURTH ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARTY on OCTOBER 31ST at the
Grape. Wear your costumes or you have to sweep the bar at the end of
the night.

Good Morning Kids,
We're not even sure why we were posting this blog because we're going
to see each and every one of you tonight at the Grape Street Pub. We
play there every Tuesday with the cavalcade of acoustic all-stars. This
week we've got our boys from Starskream, Head, Mike Fitch, and the
Anthony Renzulli band rocking your world. With a line-up teeming with
longtime friends and treasured allies the evening promises to kick more
ass than a Ninja Turtle. How could you
miss out?
We've got some videos for our music up on the last My Space blog we
posted as well as on You Tube. They'll be on the website soon. A video
for Cowgirl by Mike Lowe as well as a vido for Take Me Dancin' by Dan
Mills of said Sticker Contest. And Brittany over at Campus Philly did
us the honor of writing us not one but two articles that you can find
right in the Arts and Entertainment section of campusphilly.com or at
our MYSpace blog.
Don't you worry, we're still hard at work at the Studio getting that
album that you're all going to buy three copies of all wrapped up. And
we've got a NEW YORK CITY BUS TRIP coming up soon so keep your eyes and
ears open. See you tonight if you want to see us kick it. In fact,
we're going to kick the shit out of it.

Longest
Day Ever
Hey Everyone,
What a day Thursday was! We played LOVE Park in the wake of an
explosion that blew the manhole covers off of the street and then went
straight to Grape Street and blew the socks off of the listening
audience. We do have audio from that evening and we will be putting it
up on MySpace so look out for that. And look out for Frankie's Birthday
Party/The Grand Opening of Fat City and Friends available at 10pm EVERY
TUESDAY at the Grape Street. Acts scheduled to come out the first week
are Soraia, Anthony Renzulli, Dani Marie, Mike Fitch, and your boys Fat
City Reprise to rock it all up. Tuesday October 3rd will be the first
one, also Frankie's Birthday. See you there...

Hey Everyone,
We know that there are a lot of questions and rumors going around right
now so we're going to put it all to rest in cold hard words. Tom Perko,
who has been with the group since it's initial launch as Fat City
Reprise is no longer with the band. The decision was made over personal
differences. We know that the fans just as well as we wish Tom all the
best in all of his endeavours.
Being in a band is not easy. It is a lot of work, a lot of pressure,
and a lot of patience. It is very much like having four wives to tend
to and at times the personal aspects and business aspects can become
blended making things shaky at their foundation.
As always, we would be nothing without our fans. We are blessed with
the most loyal and true fans on the local music scene. We promise we
will not break stride. Fat City Reprise is a living organism that will
continue to grow. It lives inside of all of you who are reading this,
without you we would be nothing. We promise not to let you down.
We will be playing this Sunday (tomorrow) at the benefit for our
friends in Head. Their van was stolen along with a ton of other
equipment and we'll all be at Jocelyn's to try and make them some money
back. Come out to Media, it's for a really good cause. The address is
109 W. State St, and we go on around midnight, but there will be killer
bands all day starting at 6pm.
If you can't make it out on Sunday you better be at Dave and Buster's
for the final show of the summer, outside on the riverdeck with the
cool breeze in your hair. And look out for our triumphant return to a
weekly acoustic gig on South Street. More details as soon as we get
them.

The
Unusual Suspects
July 7, 2006
Hey Folks,
Wow, we almost didn't play the Trocadero yesterday. Some of our gear
was locked inside Abilene's, which currently has a stop work order on
it and the police have changed the locks. So we called up the owner of
the bar and told them our gear was inside and they gave us permission
to cut the lock and go inside. Apparently, it's not their call and the
next thing we knew everyone but Tom and Jay were in a police line-up
for burglary. After they almost let us go, found liquor in Wally's
bookbag and then were serious again, and then actually let us go, we
ran right to the Troc and rocked it with an appreciation for freedom
like no other. Thanks to Keith, Mike Lowe, Millsy, Molesy, the cats at
the studio, and Jealousy Curve for wrangling us as much spare gear as
possible to hang from the rafters. And thanks to the fine boys at the
Philadelphia Police Department for not locking us up for the felony we
were caught commiting. But since we're not in jail, it's a perfect
night to play the Riverdeck at Dave and Buster's. Come out with your
ticket stub from yesterday and you get in free! If not, it's five bucks
at the door, bands all night, and beautiful views of the river, the
ladies, and the booze. See you later...

Hey
Kiddies,
Gee, where to start? Thanks to Jaxon for letting us into the studio for
a little debauchery and some jamming. The plan was to play Cowgirl and
promote our appearance today at the Brotherly Shove Fest at the
Trocadero Theatre. We take the stage at 9pm, and Jaxon talked up our
homemade wine for a few moments. But after some Pearl Jam and Talking
Heads, Jaxon let us return to the microphones and play Waste. Big
thanks again to Jaxon, Kristen, Chuck D'Amico, and everyone at WMMR who
made this possible. Recordings of the broadcast will be available on
our My Space shortly.
We hope everyone is coming to the Troc tonight. It's seated right on
the corner of 10th and Arch, and the stage and sound are beautiful. We
take the stage at 9pm so don't be late, we guarantee a hard rocking
time. In other words, Frankie won't be the only one sweating tonight.
ANYONE WHO COMES TO DAVE AND BUSTER'S WITH THEIR TROC TICKET STUB GETS
IN FREE!!!!!!!! That's right, we play Dave and Buster's River Deck
Friday night. We take the stage at midnight but come early, Not Alone
and System Failure will be out, music starts at 10. Don't be a square.

St. Patty's Day at Abilene's or Erin Went Bra-less
Wow, that was fun. Abilene's was wall
to wall Friday night when we took the stage. It was our first show with
our newest member, Jay Maraglia, drums. That's right, ladies and
gentlemen, we are once more a five piece. A splendid time was had by
all and the walls came tumbling down. Thanks to Rob and Derek for
making our triumphant return possible.
March 28th we take the stage at Grape Street Philadelphia at 11:00pm.
Get off you coolies and get out to Manayunk, a special guest will be
there according to WMMR's Jaxon. Don't miss out!
We're also beginning our residency at Abilene's April 3rd. Every Monday
night was will be running an open mic there, acoustic sets of our songs
and different covers will be abundant so come out every Monday night
starting April 3rd!
