What a three peat that was! Thanks to everyone who was involved in the World Cafe show first off. Thanks Ike, J Curve, That Rob, The World Cafe, and Mike Lowe. That was awesome. And thanks to the Mercury Lounge, Celebrities, and Naeemah for the rock fest on Thursday. And of course once more to Mike Lowe, Mole, and Janine for getting us there. Then it was the most amazing Orange Opera's Philadelphia show at Doc Watson's. We had a total BLAST! Thanks to Vince, Doc's, Mike, Mole, and God and especially to the Orange Opera for rocking so damn hard. Not to mention we were treated to an awesome serving of Preston Swift, Soraia, and Phunky Band. Killer. New Year's Bus Trip Tomorrow! Last Bus Trip Ever! SCHNELL!!! SCHNELL!! UN KHYBER SCHNITZEN!!!!

Hello Dirty Harrys, What an amazing evening last night was. It was our first time at the Khyber and what a better way to make an entrance than with our long time friends and awesome rockers Soraia. Thanks for getting us on the show guys, we were more than ecstatic to be there and for a good cause too! We didn't get the tally on how much money was raised for Project H.O.M.E. but the house was packed and the donation pitcher was full so thanks to everyone for helping a little before the holidays. And a big thanks to Jaxon, Pierre, and WMMR for supporting local music and for helping bring awareness to Prjoect H.O.M.E. A completely balling evening. We're not sure if anyone noticed but we put up our first official California dates today. So we ARE going out West no matter what after the December That Never Sleeps and the January of Insanity. It's going to be so much fun and the Grammy's will be happening while we are out there. Fun fun fun until Mike Lowe takes our T-Bird away. We've got a big week coming up! We've got the World Cafe with Ike and J-Curve on the 26th, all ages! Then we're playing the Mercury Lounge with Naeemah and the Celebrities the day after in sweet ass New York City. And then we're playing again at Doc Watson's with Orange Opera from Fort Wayne, Indiana, our great friends and Philly's long awaited masters of music. Then it's a bus trip on New Year's Eve to the Bitter End away from 2008. We're turning five this year and to all of our fans old and new, and we know who the five year vets are believe us, thank you for everything. Thank you for always being there to remind us that we weren't dreaming and for always giving us a reason to keep going and keep improving. To all of the people who ever supported Fat City Reprise, thank you from the bottom of all of our hearts. Whatever you guys get into in the vicinity of December 25th, have a good time doing it. We're not into that ChristmaHannaKwanza and Happy Holidays bullshit. The end of December is the time when all cultures reflect on how much they love their loved ones. So however your cultures chooses to celebrate the end of another year together with your loved ones, have a fun and safe time doing it. Slug a nog for us. Start Spreading The News

What a night in the big apple! The Annex on December 14th was absolutely amazing. Thanks to Diet Kong for hooking us up with that show and thanks to everyone who came up with us, you guys are the best. It was a wonderful night and we would love to do it again anytime. Don't miss out on Diet Kong when they come down here to play with us at Doc Watson's for the new WMMR Night. And don't miss Orange Opera while they are here, those cats rock and roll. If you need tickets for our World Cafe Live show, you can get them at Bluebond guitars on the 500 block of South 4th Street or from John Faye and the Ike crew, Ike is on our top friends just message them. It is our last all ages Philly show until we get home from California in March. Love you guys, Fat City Reprise CURRENTLY LISTENING TO: "Heroes To Zeros" By The Beta Band

Words Cannot Describe

No matter how masterfully used, there is no way for the English language to properly represent the insanity of November 23rd at Fat City Camp. From the 9:30 am wake-up call from the honorable Mike Lowe, the massive amounts of liquor and food brought in, and the mad dash all over Pennsylvania to pick up digital projectors, screens, and odds and ends of all shapes and sizes straight to the after party with attendance in the hundreds, it was unforgettable. And all those shenanigans are a drop of piss in the ocean of rock and roll that flowed from the stage at the Fillmore. Crooked Looks turned in an amazing set that had every head in the room on the downbeat and every pelvis looking for another to quietly hump. Anthony Renzulli Band turned in another in a long string of jaw droppers. We had people coming up to us in utter panic, clawing at us, and screaming "Where can I get more of this Renzulli Band, my ear hole needs more of it thrusted in there!" At this point, we were getting a little nervous. And just when we thought the bar couldn't be set any higher, here comes Blue Method absolutely killing the crowd. Like each person in the Fillmore had their heart ripped out of their chest and then none of their cows would produce milk, like an Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom style massacre if you catch the drift. We had a janitor go through the crowd and reattach everyone's jaw and then it was our time to go on. We walked out one by one and assembled as Captain Fat City in a glorious display of man love and cheese doodles. It was the most fun we've had since Mike Schmidt retired. And just when everyone thought there was nothing left in their minds to be blown, in comes the BurnDown All Stars to scrape the edges of their skulls and smoke the entire crowd like a proverbial doobie. Back and forth, forth and back, passing the mic like quarterbacks, our asses were red like baboons after the whooping BurnDown handed out. From start to finish the show was big pimping from every angle. Thanks to all the bands for joining us on stage, we couldn't have been in better company. A huge thank you to Mole and Bobbie on gear and band duty, Zev the merch money master in the booth, Brett the Manfe Banfe on the light show, and the T K Killa and Jimmy Joanae for pimping out the party. We have the best crew in the world. And as always thanks to every single person who came out and showed us love. We can't even begin to express our gratitude to our friends and fans who are our backbone. You guys are Fat City, you are our strength, our motivation, and our love. Nothing but love to the best fans in the music universe. And above all else, Mike Lowe is a scholar and a gentleman, not to mention a saint. Love you Mike, you're a star. And in short: December 26th Fat City, IKE, Jealousy Curve WORLD CAFE LIVE-downstairs ALL AGES 20 at the door, 16.00 in advance If you have any joy or love in your heart, you'll be there. If you wouldn't hurt a kitten you would be there. If you hated two girls one cup you would be there. If you disagree with the Nazi's, you'll be there. If.... Mike Lowe, Fat City Reprise

We Will Gladly Pay You Tuesday For a Hamburger Today

What a great night we had tonight! Thanks to Stillicide for booking us for the evening and thanks to the Grape and Eddie and Billy for reminding us over and over again why we love it there so much. It was the most wonderful of times we've had in so long and it made us remember why it's always so great to be home. Practically every single person in the audience tonight was an old time friend, almost like a family reunion. We love you guys! Don't forget that we are rocking the TLA with Burndown All Stars, Blue Method, Anthony Renzulli Band, and Crooked Looks on November 23rd. It promises to be a night you'll never remember if you play your cards right and have a good time. We are currently selling tickets, just message us and we will get together and exchange tales of heroism and tickets. The funniest thing is happening right now. Anthony Renzulli of the Anthony Renzulli Band is behind us singing a song and playing ukele in our ear. We think this is some sort of distraction but the serenade is actually making the words flow like water down a hill. It's a party. D-Day + 19: Today Is the Only Day

It was a strange and wild journey that we embarked on 20 days ago. We had no idea what to expect or even what exactly we were getting ourselves into but we did it anyway. Once we started getting confirmations on shows we knew that we had to go on tour, we were now obligated to be in places we had never been to like Fort Wayne and Omaha. We had an RV, some band junk, and some songs and we took those things with us as we lept from place to place meeting new people and drinking new beer. Finally living the American dream, or at least our version of it. By the time we got home Frank had driven us 4,200 miles in the largest circle any of us could have ever expected to circumnavigate in our lives. We thought we were going to pay our dues, that we would play some tiny bars with chicken wire in front of the stage and play for no money with no people there to see it. As a band we had decided that everyone has to have their first tour be like that in order to appreciate good things down the line. If someone would have told us half of the stories that we came home with the day we left, they'd have been treated like the most disgusting filth we could imagine. Lying is not tolerated, especially storytelling of such grand proportions. We'd have never been snowed over by someone like that. When we climbed into our covered wagon on October 22, 2007 to drive towards Athens, Ohio we were very much following in the foot steps of Daniel Boone and Lewis and Clark. We were blazing down a trail we had never traversed before complete with a house on wheels, a family in tow, and a dream of greener grass. All together we played 13 shows in 5 states in 20 days, 7 of those shows having to play for two hours or more. We played old songs every night and remembered what we loved about them. Jamming endlessly on random riffs and chord progressions was an amazing oppurtunity for us. In Philadelphia, you play your 40 minute set with five bands on the bill and if you take too long to set up it comes out of your time. In the Midwest you play all night long. We never really got to do that before and it was an amazing time for us. We got to really learn a lot about ourselves as friends and as a band, it was truly an experience that was priceless. All in all it was the best three weeks of all seven of our lives. Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska all became homes away from home for us. We were recieved with such a warm welcome that it almost makes us tear up typing this. We can never express our thanks to everyone who helped us along the way in words. When we come back through the Midwest again, hugs and beers will be passed around like a cold. We'll be back in the Spring, we promise. We walked right off of the bus and into the Dr. Dog show at the TLA last night. Dr. Dog absolutely killed it. They were fresh off of months on the road and their energy was off the charts. It was the perfect ending to the perfect tour. Mole and Brett, you guys did so much for us on this tour, you're our brothers and we love you. We can't thank you enough for all you've done. And of course, Mike Lowe this would be just a dream without you brother, we love you more than you'll ever know. Thank you so much. We'll see you fuckers at the TLA. Love Love Love, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 18: The Last Waltz

When you think about the last night of a tour you think a big blowout party with all kinds of crazy people slamming beers, dancing, and getting nuts. You picture a huge mob of people having the time of their lives and an after party full of jams and spanish chicken and rice. That imagery is funny because that's exactly what we did last night. Our last show at Brew's in Granville, Ohio was so amazing. We started off the day with a radio interview on Denison's radio station with Lyndsay, our new rocking radio friend. It was a ton of fun and we'd go back in a minute. Thanks Lyndsay and we'll see you real soon! After our radio interview, we headed over to Brew's for some food and then got set up. We played a 2 hour set complete with jams and moldy oldies and then took a short break before pulling out our top secret other set, a set we only pull out in extreme emergencies. Last time we pulled it out, it took a whole army of men to resecure the area and the damages we in the millions. The set we speak of is none other than the Repeater. It's where we repeat our most jamming and up tempo songs in rapid succession after playing a long drawn out and jammy set. We have never had so much fun, thanks to Brew's for having us and thanks to Liz for everything, from the kids, the house, the party, the gig, the radio, you are the SHIT! We'll never be able to pay you back for all the cool stuff you did for us. You're a rocker. And now we are driving home. There is one more blog coming and the tour is finished and we go back to life as we know it, as some of you should know it. We won't get all wishy washy yet, that's for the next blog:) Love you Ohio, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 17: Saying Goodbye to Athens

Hey Guys, Tonight we played our third show in Athens and it was off the charts. We played for two hours, jammed on some new stuff, and even finished the evening with a four person drum solo. There were people dancing and singing along, it was amazing. We are definitely blessed. Tomorrow we have a radio interview and show in Granville, Ohio. And then we're going home. That's right, one more day and the tour is over. We are going to miss the road and are glad to be going home too. The Fat City Special today was IHop in Fort Wayne with Kevin the Man Ham. D-Day + 16: Our 100th Show This Year!!!!!!

We got to play Fort Wayne again!!! Hooray! We arrived at the Fort late after our Chicago show and then shot the shit with our Fort Wayne girlfriend Nina for a little bit. We got a little shut eye and awoke to go see our best buddy Kevin Hambrick. We sat around and jammed on old guitars, pianos, accordions, and fiddle faddles. Mrs. Hambrick made us the Fat City Special. Homemade meat loaf, homemade mashed potatoes, and homemade macaroni and cheese. Sweet mother of mercy and Allah and Yahweh and science and Zeus and money and all the other gods, that food was PIMP! It was like getting shot in the ass with vitamins, our first homemade meal since Mole Daddy last made us pork chops on October 19th. Mrs. H we love you more than we can ever express in some corny internet blog. You'll be in our heart forever and if you ever come to Philly Mole Daddy is going to make some gravy and get busy. We also got to drink Mad Anthony Lager that was purchased by Kevin Hambrick for when our heroes Dr Dog stayed at his house. We drank Dr. Dog's beer. It was thrilling. Kevin picked up a last minute gig at Mid City Grille and was the only band on the bill. A few beers and pounds of meat loaf later we were playing a show in Fort Wayne. All of our friends in Fort Wayne came out for one last set and the Orange Opera killed it. It is so hard to take the stage after them because they set the bar so high. We did our best and had an absolute blast playing, dancing, and laughing the night away. Thanks so much to Mid City, Orange Opera, and everyone in Fort Wayne for having us back for another night of music. After the show we went to our friend Sarah J's house for beers with our Indianan friends (say that ten times fast). It was a great time that ended back at Trap's crib for round II. Our true Indiana friends, you know who you are, we love you. Thanks for giving us a city to be a home away from home forever. We love it here and have never felt so accepted in our lives. We'll be back in the Spring on our way home from California. We also realized that our 100th show this year was at Mid City last night. That's a lot of shows! And we want more...101 is tonight. We're taking the stage at Jackie O's in Athens, Ohio at midnight and rocking and rolling until it hurts. Be there or be square. Come play tag or be a douche bag. Stop by or step in cow pie. Come with your friends or get the bends. You get the picture. Message us if you need TLA tickets cause it's going to be craaaaaaaaaaazy. D-Day + 15: Da Bears!

We played Chicago tonight and it was great. Reggie's is a great joint with a music store above it that now carries our CD. Thanks to Elle for setting up the show. After driving from Omaha to Chicago and then playing the show we headed to Fort Wayne. We are currently camping in Walmart awaiting an afternoon with Kevin Hambrick, an evening with Orange Opera, and an early morning with all of our friends. It's our last time off before we bust back into Ohio and then home for the TLA. It's nice to finally be back in Eastern Standard time and be able to call home without thinking about what time it is there. Today the Fat City Special was Gobstoppers and Runts from Walmart. Only 88 cents each for a big box! Remember Love, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 14: Downtown Julie Brown

So we basically only made the trip to Omaha to play for our friend Renee who was friend requested by our MySpace soldier Mole Daddy. We had a free Monday and had never been to Nebraska so we decided to come and rock out for her. She even booked the show. She hooked us up in return with real showers (sent from the gods), a warm place to sleep, and a night with Supertroopers. In return, we did what we could do to rock it at the Downtown Blues for something like two and a half or three hours. We played jams, new songs, old songs, basically everything we knew and then some stuff we didn't even know we knew. We just want to throw a quick shout out to Junebug for pushing us to jam in Athens the first night. You really showed us what we could do and now we're in full gear and riding that road wave until it breaks at the TLA in Philadelphia. Renee, thanks again for the hospitality and the love and tell Delilah, Asa, and Brody it was an absolute pleasure to meet them and if they ever get into skateboarding they can each have a deck :) We're on our way to Chicago to play Reggie's Music Joint tonight and then we're off to Fort Wayne for a night of hanging out with Kevin, Kevin, Bru, and Jon of the Opera of Orange and Nina, Jess, Shawna, Chris, and Sara Jane of the Fort of Wayne. We already miss Nebraska and Wisconsin. We are going to come back to the Midwest on our way home from California in the Spring. We promise. We are absolutely in love. The Fat City Special today was Downtown Blues' side stage cocktail weenies roasting in a crock pot of barbecue sauce and topped off with some of our stash of Diamond Don's Mustard. True tory. Miss you Philly. Much Love in the Evil Sound, Fat City Reprise CURRENTLY LISTENING TO: The Orange Opera bitches!

D-Day + 13: Omaha Beach is Secure

We pulled into Walmart on L Street in Omaha last night around 10:30pm, bought some frozen dinner, and then had a lovely night bullshitting with our Omaha friend Renee and True Lies. Oh Jamie Lee, how you oil our gooses. We had a lovely time. And we are totally pumped to go to Downtown Blues tonight and rock out. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. After tonight we begin to head back East to Chicago and then to Ohio. We'll be back home before you know it Philly. We hear it's snowing there right now. In Omaha it's just outrageously windy. We are pumped for real showers and cheesesteaks and friends. Today the Fat City Special was Calamari from Red Lobster (obviously pronounced Galamad). It was delicious and nutritious. Bella! D-Day + 12: An Iowa Away

Milwaukee was a blast. Thanks again to the Queue for introducing us to Wisconsin and taking us to their favorite haunts. We had a blast! Live on North in Milwaukee is an amazing room and we will be back there as soon as we come back through the WI. We are currently still driving through Iowa on our way from Wisconsin to Nebraska where we play Downtown Blues with John Paul Band. We miss Wisconsin already but we are really excited to get to Omaha, Chicago, Athens, and Granville. We ate at Deak's today in Stoughton, Wisconsin and had a blast with Diamond Don, the Mustard Baron. He makes this sweet and hott honey mustard that blows away any mustard you have ever tasted. The Fat City Special today is Diamond Don's Mustard Wings where the mustard is cut with Guiness and applied to breaded and fried wings. So ultra ballin. If you live in the Nebraska or Iowa areas please come and check us out in Omaha. It's our most Westward show and also our last show that takes us away from Philly. After that it's only a few more days before we come home. Can't wait to eat an Omaha ribeye. Remember Love, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 11: All Sorts of Marty's

So tonight we took off and headed into Mukwonago for one last night in Wisconsin. We have been here for a week and seen Franklin, Stevens Point, Waupaca, Oshkosh, Mukwonago, Plover, Appleton, Wisconsin Rapids, and Milwaukee. While other people see other places for a week at a time we got to see Wisconsin. We have never found or seen more weird wild stuff outside of the Carson show. We are coming home with Milwaukee Ukulele's. We finally got to catch up with the events that have been snowballing us to Omaha. We're getting ready to enter our last week of the tour where we will play 4 shows in four towns in five days and then go home to the Dr. Dog show at the TLA. We will be there about fifteen minutes after we get home from tour and nothing is pulling us out of there so if you want to hang out come see us there. If not we'll see your beautiful faces at Grape Street. We're playing Milwaukee today within the hour from when we are writing this. And then it's only a hop over Iowa to the land of T-Bones. Mike Lowe had to fly home and take care of some stuff for the TLA but he WILL be returning and we have never felt more honored to be trusted so far from home with so much responsibility and at the same time sad because we miss our brother. We miss you Mike and we love you. Thanks for going all the way home alone to help us, you're the greatest. We can't wait to be together again. Wisconsin we love you and we will at the very least be back with the harvest every year for the rest of our lives. When you see that RV a coming you know Fat City Reprise is there with a whole bunch of new toys and new songs and stories. We'll see you as soon as we can. We promise! The Fat City Special today was lime Tostito's and Spinach Dip See you cheese curds next fall :) Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 10: It's All About the Calcium

Holy shit holy shit holy shit. Tonight was amazing. Thanks to Simpson's Indian Room and the Queue for setting everything up, by the way the Queue pulled in another awesome set. The club was packed when we hit the stage both times we went on. We played two sets which included Torn Picture, Step In Take Time, and even a version of Juicy for Annalisa's birthday. Thanks to everyone from Stevens Point who drove out to Waupaca to catch the show. You guys rock. Thanks again to Bethany, Meghan, and Ed aka Wal 2 D 2 for the bonfire. After the show we had a dance party to the Teeth CD by ourselves and then we beat each other up for a little while with some ninja kee-yaw action. After that we went to a gas station where we met Sabrina who helped us solve our problem with cheese puffs and crunchy cheetos and then to Perkins where we met April and Stephanie who joined us for breakfast and some really great conversation and stories about Wisconsin and other stuff. There are spots here that defy gravity where people develop the bends from living there too long. And the most serial killers are from here too, apparently the Northern part of the state has been cursed by the Earth for years and the Indians call it the place where the four winds meet. They say no one should live there. We actually love it here even though we never made it north enough to get to the cursed areas. We love everyone here. Today the Fat City Special was in fact Love. We had some Love and it was filling. We're playing in Milwaukee on Saturday if anyone wants to check us out and then onto our friend Renee and Omaha. After that we'll be working our way back to you Philadelphia for some killer Grape Street stuff and then the Fillmore at the TLA all ages. Ballin Big Pimpin Spend the Cheese, Fat City Reprise aye

D-Day + 9: All Hallow's Eve

Another great night! The Queue and Fat Maw Rooney were great and we had a ball playing here in Stevens Point. Thanks to Clark Place for all of the hospitality. We'll definitely be back to the point. After the gig we went to a bonfire and drank vodka under the amazingly high number of stars present in the Wisconsin sky. It was beautiful. We're having a wonderful time. Tomorrow we are at Simpsons Indian Room in Waupaca. It should be a killer gig, we'll be playing on and off from 9pm to 1am, expect some Juicy, Torn Picture, Fill In Stretch Time, and Dance Like. After that we're heading to Milwaukee and then to Omaha to meet our friend Renee. Things keep getting better and better we want to be on tour forever. Today's Fat City Special is Wally 2007's homemade Wisconsin beef stew, Dat Der Rootbeer from Applebees, and Point Beer. Ever heard of a Polish Martini? Tomato juice and beer. That's not the Fat City Special. Still Eating Our Vitamins, Fat City Reprise PS FAT CITY REPRISE LIVE AT THE TLA ALL AGES NOVEMBER 23rd We said it

D-Day + 8: All Sorts of Marty's

Stevens Point Wisconsin is in the Guiness Book of World Records for the Most Bars in the Least Amount of Space. We tried to go to all of them but settled for two. Jager shots, cans of Hamm's, and next thing we know it's Wednesday morning. We're sitting outside of the Plover, Wisconsin Walmart Supercenter getting ready to eat lunch and make our triumphant return to the stage at Clark Place tonight. We finally got out here and met up with the Queue. They are playing with us at Clark Place tonight, Simpson's in Waupaca on Thursday, and Live in Milwaukee Saturday afternoon where we'll give Squiggy a swirlie and smack Laverne on that supple behind of hers. They're also accompanying us to Nebraska and playing some Philly shows with us at the Grape. Sean showed us his Delorean and we took it back to November 12th, 1955 where there were three-four Marty McFly's. All sorts of Marty's running around with us playing Earth Angel. Look out for pictures. We wrestled and slap boxed in the RV for hours before finally collapsing. If you live in Wisconsin, we'll see you this week. Try and catch us while you can :) The Fat City Special today was Panchero's Mexican Grille in Appleton. Viva las carnitas! Much Love, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 7: We're goin to Hooters aye!

So we bit the bullet and went to the Appleton, Wisconsin Hooters today to LOVE the fact that we were drinking gigantic beers on a Monday night watching the Packers win in overtime, all in the lovely state of Wisconsin. Not to mention that Allie, Kristi, and Heather were the finest and most friendly people Wisconsin has so far offered us. Did you know that in Wisconsin Hooters they will de-bone your wings for you table side? It's re-God-damned-diculous. It was a lovely day off. Today's Fat City Special was 24oz Stellas in giant Superfans mugs. Look out for pictures soon. Right now we are giving out nicknames and laughing our asses off. Mole is Shirley and Nick is Rodg, and Vivas is Duane from What's Happening, Frank is Uncle Phil, Mike is Jeffrey, and Brett is Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and Jay is Willis from Different Strokes. No one really knows why but randomly calling any of those names and getting a response is absolutely hilarious. We're most likely going to Stevens Point tomorrow to promote our big Halloween show on Wednesday with the Queue. Chicago and Columbus are great places and we loved them but we're having such an awesome time exploring random places that are nothing like Philadelphia, farm areas and towns like Fort Wayne, Indiana, Appleton, Wisconsin, and Athens, Ohio. We've been through four Wisconsin towns today during our travels and it's gorgeous. So so beautiful, if you live in the United States, see them all. It's amazing. See you Halloween! Love, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 6:Abe Froman and Mrs. McNabb meet Fat City Reprise

Chicago was a blast! We had a great time. We are currently sitting in the parking lot of the Woodman's 24 Hour Supermarket just over the Wisconsin border eating sushi and reveling in the largest cheese section we've ever experienced in our lives. Did you know they still have Five Alive in Wisconsin? The Fat City special is California rolls and Five Alive baby! We are loving this! We'll be in Wisconsin for a week starting Halloween and ending on the 3rd in Milwaukee with our friends the Queue. We're starting to miss home, Bobbie Potatoes, TK Killa, Artist Dave, Pam, Kristine, and Icarus. We miss you guys. And we miss Junebug and Nate from Athens, Liz and Keller from Columbus, and all of our Fort Wayne family. But we're ready to meet you Wisconsin. We're going to try and make an open mic in Appelton tomorrow or Tuesday and then Stevens Point Wed, Waupaca Thurs, and Milwakuee Friday. Want some cheese aye? Love you, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 5: The Last Orange

Day Off! Tonight we stayed in Fort Wayne to check out Orange Opera and Will Wisely and again Kev and the boys pulled in a class A performance. They really rock we can't wait to bring them home for everyone to see. We just hung out in the Fort and let it all hang out. Getting ready for Chicago tomorrow as we speak. Thanks for checking in with us. The Fat City Special today was brownies :) Love Love Love, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 4: I'm Hearing an Accent, Are Ya'll from the United States?

Everyday gets better!!! Our show last night in Fort Wayne, Indiana was absolutely out of control. The Quiet Life killed it, there were all kinds of beautiful girls singing along with our songs thanks to our Fort Wayne girlfriend Nina who passed out some demos and brought out some people for us, and Kevin Hambrick, and the Orange Opera were fucking incredible. The cops came during our set and asked us to turn down and finally got to toss a few back with our Fort Wayne friends including the guys at Little Brother Radio who totally kick ass for spinning us on their station. We partied until the wee hours of the morning and even had a wonderful after party throwing axes at a target while having our minds blown by our new friends and their stories about Mad Anthony Wayne. On a side note before we went to the show we went to Bob Evans and met Kristie, our waitress. She was picking up on our accent so she asked us if we were from the United States of America. Kristie, bless your soul we're not making fun of you we just got a huge kick out of it. You're wonderful. We got made fun of for our accents all day, saying cawfee, wooder, talian dressin, and tawk. Here they say WHAT-er and Eye-Talian. We love the Midwest, we just might retire here someday. Everyone is so nice it's almost foreign to us. We'll be at the Side Pocket in Fort Wayne tonight having our first day off and watching Orange Opera rock the shit out of the place. We're really hoping all of our Fort Wayne friends come out to the show so we can hang out one more time before it's onto Chicago for the Orphanage and then straight into Wisconsin for cheese and gigs. But today we are off and we will be drunk. See you there! The Fat City Special today is totally Country Fried Steak from Bob Evans. Who knew that taking an already delicious piece of meet and then deep frying it would be fantastic? Your Eye-Talian Stallions, Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 3: Hot Carrots, Cold Dip

Just when you think that a tour couldn't rock any harder there it is, rocking harder. Old Field's in Columbus was an absolute blast! We met some new friends and saw some old ones. Keller, it was great seeing you and thanks to you and Liz for bringing people. Also, thanks to Brian for sporting the Eagles hat and for hooking up the show. We promise we'll bring you a Pat's steak next time. And Orange Opera was AWESOME!!! They absolutely killed it and we are in love. Junebug, Nate, Pat, Liz, Brian, and Orange Opera....welcome to the family. We're so lubed up it is absolutely silly. Yesterday we played two hours and did songs we never play like Caution and even did Juicy. Today, day three, we played Juicy again and it was ballin. We are currently barreling down Highway 117 in Ohio on our way to the Walmart Supercenter in Fort Wayne where we'll pop out and get some rest. Feel free to come by and see us whenever you'd like, we're friendly. We'll be at MidCity Grille with Orange Opera, which is a dream for us because The Teeth played there and they're our secret crush (Dr. Dog being our publicized crush). The Fat City Special today was microwaved carrots with cold veggie dip. The carrots got a little frozen but the hot carrots, cold dip contingency made for deliscious. We're also all hopped up on vitamins and Ensure. We've got lots of crazy shows in the works so look out for additions to the calendar and we'll see you in a few hours Indiana! Truckin Fat City Reprise

D-Day + 2: Homemade Raspberry Beer and Junebugs

Speechless..... We have never felt so at home in a place so far from home in our lives! All the people in Athens are just amazing. We made a whole bunch of new friends and drank a whole bunch of homemade beers. We absolutely cannot wait until we get to play here again. we'll be back at Jackie O's on November 8th. It's going to be a blast, thanks to Junebug for hooking us up with the pizza. In fact, today's Fat City Special is free pizza from Jackie O's. We played for two and a half hours! We played Caution and then we jammed on instrumental stuff for another hour. Our fingers were mushy but it was rock and roll. We are currently sitting in Janine in Columbus awaiting our show with Orange Opera and the Undeserving. We'll be playing Guitar Hero II all day and all night until the show and then it's on to Fort Wayne to our big MidCity Grille show with Orange Opera. What a life! We promise to always come back Athens. Fat City Reprise

October 24, 2007 - Wensday

D-Day + 1: Football, Doritos, and Zeitgeists

Ballin! We're on the other side of the Appalachians and you're not! What a wonderful time we're having here in Athens. We spent the whole day in Walmart and its surrounding parking area playing football, skateboarding through the store, and playing Guitar Hero demos. We kicked in the door at the Blue Gator and rocked it with two sets. We even played Torn Picture. Thanks to Junebug for the gig and for the gig tomorrow at Jackie O's. We're totally gizassed about checking in with the co-eds at University of Ohio. We're playing here tomorrow at Jackie O's and then onto Columbus with Orange Opera and the Underserving at Old Fields on High. Should be ultra ballin millenium edition. Tour is great, RV livin is great, and we're still healthy. We're camping in the rain and eating Fat City specials: Nutella and Ritz cracker sandwiches. We're safe and sound don't worry about us. And our show in Stevens Point Wisconsin is now on Halloween. Clark Place, October 31st. Be there. Still Alive, Fat City Reprise

October 23, 2007 - Tuesday

D-Day: Athens Beach is Secure!

With all sorts of goofy shit and musical oddities from around the globe safely loaded into Janine's underbelly, we headed to Athens, OH to camp in the Athens Walmart and await our show at the Blue Gator. As we are typing we are sitting here watching Blood Diamond and eating Fat City specials: tuna, mayo packet, salt and pepper in the can. Wonderful. We're taking our vitamins and getting a little rest before we're off to meet some people on campus and the rock the Blue Gator. We'll be in Athens and at this Walmart tonight, tomorrow night, and then we'll be heading to a Walmart in Columbus, Ohio for our first show with Orange Opera. We're in love and our lady is the road. Miss you Philly, Fat City Reprise

The Next Great American Band

No you didn't miss us playing and yes Franklin Bridge, Tres Bien, and Light of Doom are our top three picks. We did go to Vegas to film an audition for American Band and we were supposed to be on the air tonight but for some reason we hit the cutting room floor except for some nice stock footage of us drinking and a little clip of Vivas jamming out at the end. We're montage filler and that's how we like it. No ass ramming contract for us, we're free as birds and we got to go to Vegas for free. And as the only band who didn't sleep the night before they played so they could go to the strip and take what was rightfully theirs, we'd like to salute all of the hard working bands we became friends with. The pill junkies at Fox cut a lot of things out but we just want to say congratulations and you rock to Franklin Bridge, Tres Bien, The Hatch, Fi Fi Larou, Honkystomp, CJA, Old Number 7, Light of Doom, Big Toe, the Queue, and any other friends we made along the way. Vegas was a blast, we loved every second of it. We'd do it again every day for the rest of our lives and there is no way we'd change a thing. We wanted to lose and we did. We're just a little upset that there's no way Paul McCartney saw us play Hey Bulldog now that it never hit the airwaves. We'll see you guys tomorrow for the Bitter End and then it's straight into frantic oblivion and the guts of 76-W, a straight high speed burn from Philly to Athens and then right into the heart of our Children of the Karn Tour. Much love! Fat City Reprise MIDWESTIES!!! See you in less than a week!!!!!!

October 13, 2007 - Saturday

Morphin Time!

Wow, We're a little dizzy right now. We felt a whole lot of love last night when everybody we ever met and their mothers all came to Grape Street to wish us good luck on tour. It was an amazing night, IKE totally killed it, like ripped its guts out and ate it's heart killed it. Extra props to your boy Jay Miraglia for playing two sets in a row at maximum rock capacity and almost imploding his hands. We took the stage 20 minutes earlier than we expected to and were faced with a wall of faces, all belonging to friends and family who we've met at all different places across all different years of Fat City-ness. It was the greatest and most special gig we ever played and it makes us smile even thinking about it. Thanks for coming to see us everybody, we missed you and it was nice to be home. We'll be back in Philly at the Grape Street on November 13th and 15th and then again on December 28th. And then we're West Coast bound. Wonderful! Our last gig on the East Coast is this Saturday when we take the Bitter End by storm and then it's off to meet and greet all of our new Midwest friends and meet as many new people as we can! It's going to be a blast, we get to shove off with all of our New York City buddies and then forge the Oregon Trail to Chimney Rock where Jebidiah died of cholera to rock the Midwest's socks off! Big Ballin, Fat City Reprise October 23rd Blue Gator Athens, Ohio October 24th Jackie O's Athens, Ohio October 25th Old Field's on High Columbus, Ohio October 26th MidCity Grille Fort Wayne, Indiana October 28th The Orphanage Chicago, Illinois October 30th Clark Place Stevens Point, Wisconsin November 1st Simpsons Waupaca, Wisconsin November 3rd Live on North Milwaukee, Wisconsin November 5th Downtown Blues Omaha,. The Eve of the Day

Well friends it is the night before the dawning of our Grape Street showdate. Judging from all the nice comments and messages we've gotten in the past few days, the turnout is going to be crazy. We've been bunkered here at HQ doing some home recording and abroad to New York City and Cincinnati through the bowels of the Appalachians but we've been home sick like dogs. We haven't played the Grape in so long and we're so jazzed to be home and be on the bill with such great bands! Ike hasn't played the Grape in a really long time either and Outset kills it every time they play. If you can make it out, you shouldn't miss this one. It's going to be epic. Like that time we sailed with the Argonauts to get Jay's Golden Fleece back. Yeah, that kind of epic... We're talking Indiana Jone's Raiders of the Lost Ark style face melting along with Indiana Jones the Last Crusade style Earth crumbling, canyon making, tremors of rock. So come out to Grape tomorrow and get your purple drink on. Eddie will be there, and if you miss Eddie as much as we do you'll be there too. See you tomorrow or there'll be much sorrow Fat City Reprise

The Bobby Darin Story

Sometimes we feel like a nut, sometimnes we don't. But when you're a full floor beneath the basement at the Knitting Factory's Old Office room on a muggy night in front of the lights, breathing feels sort of like drowning and you feel sort of like a nut. By the time we got done, we were covered in sweat. It was like jumping into a pool naked and then putting all your clothes back on while you were soaking wet. Except the pool water was a mixture of water, sugar, and salt. It didn't matter to us though, we played through the muggiest of mugs tonight to an awesome crowd at the Knitting Factory in beautiful New York City. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us, you're the best. We had a great time and can't wait to return to the Knit. We'll be back in NYC for the Bitter End at 10pm October 20th, right before we leave for our MIDWEST TOUR!!!!! Bickybizam! We've got Grape Street on October 12th and we're expecting everyone and their Uncle to be there. We haven't seen anyone in so long, we want to throw a few back in the long shadows of Drew, Eddie, Billy, and Frank Tucker, and pour beer on the floor for Johnny Buttslammer and Scooter. We want to walk down Main Street with Jaxon with our hands in each others back pockets and pretend we don't know what it really sounds like when doves cry. The olden days, remember? We want Mole Daddy to have to be carried out to an apartment party that we get kicked out of. Most of all we want to see our friends. We miss everyone and want to show you our new songs and what not's and give you hugs and kisses. That's October 12th, Grape Street, 12:00am with Ike at 11pm kicking major ass with Jay playing drums!!!!! Double Miraglia Pie Tasty Treat!! We'll be there by 9 so we expect to see you early for shots :) We miss you, Fat City Reprise

October 4, 2007 - Thursday

Three and Out (Come on Phillies)

Well Guys, time flies when you're having fun! Here we are on October 4th (btw October 3rd was Frankie's birthday, you can drop him a Happy Birthday comment here) and there are only THREE more shows on the East Coast and we are out of here! October 6th we take the stage at the famed Knitting Factory in New York City. The venue is legendary and amazing, please come out and support us as we spin a sweater of rock. We take the stage around 10pm and are playing in the Old Office room. Come early and have a beer aye? October 12th we're at good old Grape Street with our friends Ike. Philly fans, this is our last Philly show until November 15th! We miss you guys and want to hang out really bad so come early please :) We're playing at midnight but we'll be there at 9 and we want to hang out. It's our last chance for hugs and beers before we hit the road and we haven't played the Grape in months. And don't forget that Ike is a face fucker of a band. If you were really our friend, you'd be there... October 20th is our last stop before we shove off, a night at the fabled Bitter End. One last East Coast tare before we head out to Athens, OH, Columbus, OH, Fort Wayne, IN, Chicago, IL, Stevens Point, Waupaca, Madison, Milwaukee WI, Omaha, NE, St. Louis, MO, and back through Chicago and Athens. It's the last time we'll be in New York until December. We're going to miss everyone terribly but we must climb aboard our new lady Janine (our new RV, see the last blog for a pic) and spread our wings to play for the rest of our countrymen here at home fighting the war. We're going to be video blogging and working on a new EP called the RV Sessions which we are going to actually physically record while inside of our RV and on the road. We'll be staying in Walmart parking lots so keep an eye out for us and don't hesitate to drop off a home cooked meal and a smile. We'll be far away from our hometown fans, who of course we'll miss dearly. These last three shows are going to be blowouts and in January through March or April we'll be out West and down South so catch us while you can. We want to see everyone before we go! Love, Fat City Reprise

October 2, 2007 - Tuesday

It's an RV Thang

We're home! Wow, what a ridiculous couple of days we had last week. We'll start from the beginning and work our way to the present. Tuesday was a whole shit load of fun, we got to play one of our favorite open mics at Lickety Split, Katie put the titties in our band, Throbert told us about his Mommy and her masterbating, and as always we drank and sang until it hurt. Tuesday night we went to the Electric Factory to see the real hardcore Hanson fans in action, all eight of them sitting in the cold at 4am. We left Brett with them so that no one would jump them, handed out some CD's, made some friends and went to bed. Wednesday we of course played the Electric Factory and opened for Hanson and Locksley. What a great time! Thanks to the guys at WMMR for mentioning us during the Hanson interview and thanks to Jaxon for playing us that night. Thanks to Live Nation for hooking us up and thanks to Hanson and Locksley for sharing the stage. A huge thank you also to all of Hanson's fans for accepting us into their show line-up and for all the emails and comments they've sent over. What an amazing night! Thursday we went and did something crazy. Thursday morning we went and bought an RV. Her name is Janine and she's got room to sleep 8, a full stove and fridge, shower, toilet, two TV's, and all sorts of balling stuff. She looks like this..... And we took her straight to Dewey Beach, DE. Frankie the Horse drove from Philly to Dewey Beach like an animal, taking all 35 feet of Janine behind him. We had an awesome time at the Dewey Beach Music Conference, got to hang out with our friends from lots of other bands like Head, The Celebs, and Jealousy Curve and shoot the shit with longtime friends Jim Thorpe and Vikki Walls. We played our set and packed up to roll to Cincinnati for Midpoint Music Festival. Twelve hours of RV living and consecutive hours of driving by Frank the Tank and we were in Cincinnati. Driving West from Philly isn't so hard but coming from Dewey Beach you have to cross the mountains of Maryland and West Virginia. We're talking 45 degree angle on a hairpin curve. We arrived in Cincy, popped the side of Janine out, and played XboX and napped until show time, which we must say is priceless. Midpoint was a lot of fun, we met a lot of cool people and cool bands. All in all we never had a more wonderful time on the road. We went to the nearest Walmart and camped out for the night in the parking lot. At this point Nick decided to try his hand at driving Janine. He drove 15-25 feet in a parking lot and ripped the exaust system right off the bottom. After two hours under Janine, Mike Lowe, Brett, and Nick got her in road condition again. Going to Walmart at 4am and buying 300 feet of rope and a baby sledgehammer is always hilarious. We made our way home in the morning and ended up at CBS studios for the Chevy Kickoff show. We had a great time, thanks to CBS, Beasley, and everyone else who made it happen. It was great to be on TV and represent South Philly. Click the blue if you want to watch our internet performance. Thanks also to Brett, Mole, and Mike Lowe for coming along, helping along, and taking care of us while we were out and about on the road. You guys are our bread and butter and we love you. What a family we have! We'll see all of you guys at the Knitting Factory on October 6th and Grape Street on October 12th and then we're out of here until November. Try and get it in while we're around :) Love from Above, Fat City Reprise

Tenacious We

Hello Children, Things are shaping up for sure with shows rolling in in Chicago, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. Thanks so much to Renee from Omaha for helping us get our feet wet out there, you're the best! And we're going to the Bitter End to rock out Friday Sept 21st where we'll be debuting another NEW SONG. One no one has ever heard except maybe Mole Daddy and Mike Lowe. If you want to hear it, you'll have to come to the Bitter End by 11pm to see us hit the stage and perform it. And if you love funk, Sly Stone, Prince, and James Brown stick around because the band after us is called Days of Wild and they bring the heat like crazy. And if you still need Electric Factory tickets, get on our delivery list and we'll come see you with them. They are 30 bucks each and it'll be us, Locksley, and Hanson kicking everyone there's ass into obscurity like judo......or Minneudo. We've also got a fully computer animated video for Long Gone in the works up in NYC from our boy Cesar and are opening a video vault of all the crazy nights we've had recently. Keep an eye open for that and we'll see you Friday! Wake up you sleepy heads! Fat City Reprise

September 16, 2007 - Sunday

Spit Hot Fire!

We originally wanted to play the Fire because Dr. Dog played there before and that's juicy to us. We had a blast and to everyone who made it out, thanks so much for your support. You guys are our bedrock. To everyone who didn't come, you missed the guy handing out 100 dollar bills. What a nice old man. Come out to the World Cafe tomorrow and dig the show with Stillicide. We're going to be doing like five songs and it's free and reasonably early. Don't miss out because after this and then our subesquent show at the Electric Factory on Sept 26th with Hanson we're out of Philly until October 12th. And then after that until November 9th. Catch us if you can! Love ya, Fat City Reprise

Having Super Perfundis on the Early Eve of Our Day

Hello Ladies and Giants, We just want to set some things straight officially on the record. So here it is then. We'll get on with it now. Right now actually. Here we go. The news is as follows. The next few paragraphs are the news in brief and slight detail. But no one wants to waste time. So here it is. Beginning after these words. Actually after these words. First and foremost, we have recieved all of the emails about Hanson tickets and we'll have them in a day or two and start delivering. We have them all saved so keep messaging us and we'll bring you your tickets. And unfortunately no we can't get anyone back stage to meet Hanson. Yes, a lot of people asked. We don't mind the asking because we would if we could be we can't. Sorry everyone. We will be back stage with Hanson and we are going on first so be there at 7pm for doors because we're going to rip the Electric Factory a new binger. So that is the story about that. Second of all, yes the Fire is going to be the hardest you ever see us rock. We've been playing New York City, Skippack, Doyelstown, Montgomery County, West Philly, and have shows coming up in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, New York and Dewey Beach Delaware. We've also been to a lot of great rock shows lately, Dr. Dog, The Teeth, and Oakley Hall to name a few. So we're going to be spitting nothing but A Game at the Fire and it's dark, small, and dirty just like we like it. We're recording the night so be there or be a complete and total boner. First Philly show since July 24th. Third, we promise to stop numbering our blogs, it's a terrible habit we've gotten into because there has been so much news all of the time. Big things are in the works and we'll let you in when we get down and dirty and things are set in stone. Behave yourselves you filthy party animals. Love, Fat City Reprise

September 9, 2007 - Sunday

Skippack up the Jeep, We’re Travelin’ Pa! Adventures in Corn (pronounced carn)

Hey Lovers, Sorry we haven't been writing much lately, we've just been so busy. Let's talk about the upcoming fun shall we? First, we'll be at the Fire on Saturday. We know we said it was on a Friday but it isn't, sorry. The Fire is September 15th and we go on 11-ish. It's an awesome place and our first Philly show in a while. The room has launched bands that we love like Dr. Dog and The Teeth so of course we'll be super jazzed to be there. That's Saturday the 15th at the Fire on 4th and Girard Ave. Second, we're opening for HANSON at the ELECTRIC FACTORY on September 26th. How crazy is that? And it's not a joke contrary to popular opinion. We do have $30 tickets for sale and we will be delivering them to people in the upcoming weeks. Just message us! Third, Midwest we are coming! From October 23rd to November 8th we will be gone and on the road. We're hitting Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Missouri with a maybe on Iowa, Michigan, and Kansas. If you live in one of these states and know cool places to play hit us up. And if you are a band in any of these places who wants to swap some shows, message us and we'll see you soon! After we get home from our Midwest dates we'll be gearing up to do a Southern loop before Christmas where we hit the Carolinas, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and then back home through Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana. Fun, fun, fun! Don't miss out on those shows if you live out in that area because we can only make it out so many times a year. Fourth, we love you all more than you'll ever know. Fifth, can everyone please send Mike Lowe, Mole Daddy, Brett, Tina Kelly, and Bobby Potatoes thank you letters from the fans? If it wasn't for those guys, we'd be nothing. They are all in our top friends and we are absolutely indebted to them. We love you guys, thanks for all your help. Sixth, listen to Dr. Dog and The Teeth of we'll come back tomorrow and cut off your johnson! Seventh, New Yorkers, please unite and come out for a great time at the Bitter End on 9/21. Our last time there was so so so much fun and we're always super stoked to get back up there. Much Love in the Evil Sound (Shout out to Diet Kong also in our top friends!), Fat City Reprise

September 3, 2007 - Monday

Dude, You’re Being Very Un-Dude

Man, it's been too long since we've been able to sit down and write a blog. Well, we're ready steady go on the fore-front of rocking as many people as our Jeep's can take us to. Club Midway in NYC (8/7) with Diet Kong was awesome, they killed it. The Lion's Den (8/10) was amazing, there were a ton of people there. It was really cool. And Finnigan's for Theresa's Benefit was just awesome. What an amazing turnout! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to show love and support Jay's family. You guys are the best! So we're getting to take a short nap and we're back out and about to Phila Funk Live on Friday, a great venue. It's out in West Philly and it's awesome. It'll be nice to be inside the city, we look forward to seeing you guys there. Then we're back North to NYC at the Underscore with the Burnside Bums, which should be lovely. After that, it's off to North by Northwest. We're selling tickets so just drop us a line and we'll get them out to you. Busy weekend, it's going to rock though. We'll see you on the beach. Shuber Shabus, Fat City Reprise

A Three Hour Tour

Hey Sleepy Heads, We just got in from Trenton and boy do we have blisters on our fingers! This weekend was absolutely amazing and here's the scoop. We'll go in chronological order because that's what you're trained to understand best. Friday was just spectacular!! We got to play at the Borgata and open for Paolo Nutini and then hang out at the casino and eat buffet. When you play the Borgata they give you a huge ass ballin dressing room complete with a clean shower, steam room, fridge full of all kinds of soda, free buffet, and beer. Not just any beer either, they give you a list of kinds of beer they could bring to you and then when they bring it they bring it on ice in a frilly little tub. We got half a case of Stella and half a case of Heineken. We thought it was a good choice. We got a 25 minute set and we ripped through it like maniacs. Six songs and we may have been able to squeeze one more in there. We got a great response from the crowd and signed a whole bunch of autographs, which was cool as all hell, and made a bunch of new friends. We got to eat again and Mike Lowe and Mole Daddy got lucky and won some money. All in all it was a great day and by the time we got back to HQ in Philly we were pooped and the Sun was almost up. Saturday was also absolutely amazing! The Bitter End is our home away from home, we absolutely love it there. The bar was packed with a great mix of our New Yorker fans (by the way you guys ROCK hardcore, we can't wait to see you Friday and introduce you to our fans from home with a bus trip really soon!) and a whole mess of fresh ears waiting for the rock that always frequents the Bitter End. Naeemah opened the evening with a kick ass set that drew a huge response from the natives, who were restless with drunken joy they just couldn't shake off. They had so much joy that they started dancing. By the time we got to the stage the crowd was lubed and ready for a spanking which we delivered to the best of our abilities. It's always a pleasure to rock out in New York City with our brothers from the North as well as citizens of the world. And nowhere do we love to be more than in front of the brick wall at the Bitter End. Great times and a great show, everyone there was nothing but love in skin. Except the New York City Parking Authority that is. That's right, the Green Jeep, the Tank, the Green Monster got towed. Nick and Bobby Potatoes had to take a cab to an airplane hangar full of cars, walk 14 blocks each way to find an ATM, and eat 50 hard boiled eggs in one hour just to get the car back. A little navigation and a little luck and they were back at the Bitter End and everyone was one their way home. Sunday we woke up rather sleepily and crawled into the Jeeps to go to Trenton and rock the 449 Room. We got lost a few times along the way but a gas station attendant later we were at the show. It was a really awesome time and everyone was all peaches. We'll most likely be back there some Friday night real soon for all you Trentonians. So we'll be sleeping all day Monday as well as editing a video blog of this weekend for your viewing pleasure. Then its back to NYC to rock Club Midway with Diet Kong, and this Friday back to NYC for the Lion's Den. We are playing Jay's cousin's benefit Saturday at Finnigan's Wake also, we'd love if everyone could make it out and support a good cause. All sorts of cool stuf coming up, keep checking back now... Be Good to Each Other, Fat City Reprise

All Things Must Pass

And with a fiery explosion of rock brought to the table by all, the Tuesday night Fat City Reprise and Friends weekly show at Grape Street was taken out of our hands. Thanks to the Grape Street for their 45 weeks of hospitality especially Eddie, Billy, That Rob, and Keith who helped us out so much in making all of those Tuesdays happen. Thanks to every band that ever volunteered their services to help out with entertaining the troops every Tuesday. We were so blessed as to deal with the absolutle creme de la creme of the Philadelphia music scene. Bands like Head, Even the Res, Anthony Renzulli Band, Soraia, Stillicide, Polymer, Chili Stu, Starskream, Monster Hand, Resarekt, Burndown All Stars, The Celebrities, Brown Recluse Sings, Dephonic, Matt Gauss, Curt Chambers of Franklin Bridge, John Faye of Ike, Dani Mari, Mike Fitch, Rohan Hunt, Alex and I, Josh Kruse, Shane, and of course our girl Naeemah made it a habit of playing absolutely stellar performances on a weekly basis. There were so many nights where being in that Grape Room was absolutely magic and it's all irreplacible. Thanks to our fans who came out in the rain, hail, sleet, snow, and even when it was raining men. You guys are the reason that we did 45 of these things, the reason we were even allowed to do 45 of them. You made it happen, you promote the shows, and you are the grease on the gears of the Fat City machine. We have the best, most beautiful, and loving fans out of any band in the world and we'll put money on that shit. So all in all, Tuesdays at Grape Street was a beautiful experience and we're sorry to see it end and also excited about what the future holds for both the night and us. Tuesdays at Grape will still be pumping, Stillicide is going to start their own weekly jam session in the Grape Room and we are going to hit the road and get the hell out of Philly for a little while. We've got some big things in the kitchen cooking with gas so keep your eyes on our show schedule and on your bulletins. We'll be in New York City on July 27th and the next Philly show we're playing is August 3rd at the Grape Street. We'll see you on the beach. Can't Stop, Won't Stop, Fat City Reprise

If You Missed Yesterday, You Suck Eggs

Hey Poosies, What a great night of great music!!! Josh Kruse pulled in an awesome set with a few guys from the Anthony Renzulli Band to back him up. Even the Res kicked every ass in the place one by one, right on the right cheek. And then Starskream made everyone line back up to make the left cheek red too. We also had a cherrybuster last night when Diet Kong played. They tore shit up, finally fulfilling the ancient propshesy that a band will come from the North and melt the faces of the Southerners. Thanks for making the trip boys, we hope to rock with you guys asap. Naeemah killed it again, and everyone loved it again, and she had everyones ass shaking again (read in Forrest Gump voice). Then we played, no big deal.... Don't miss out on the World Cafe this Sunday, Josh Dion will be there humping eardrums and we're all playing to support the SPCA. Righteous... Love, Fat City Reprise

This Could Be Louder

Sorry the blog is a tiny bit late this week, we just woke up. What a ridiculous weekend we had! Had a blast playing Grape Street Friday night, incredible show. Naeemah was great and a ton of people came out. You guys are the best. Then we headed to New York City to play not one but two shows. Thanks to Dani Mari for booking the first show at Piano's. What a great club! The whole place was full of people who loved music. We met a whole bunch of cool people there and look forward to hanging with them again real soon. Naeemah played at Piano's too, drawing a great response from everyone there. And we hopped in the car and ran down to the Bitter End to rock it again. Three sets in 23 hours and if you talk to Vivas nad Jay, who played with Naeemah on Friday and Saturday, their count is 5 sets in 23 hours. Not too shabby. Bitter End was killer as always, howdy to our new friends from Spain! We'll see you guys at Fat Baby on July 27th. And for you Philly fools don't miss out on this Tuesday with Josh Kruse, Even the Res, Diet Kong, Naeemah and Starskream. So much rock it'll melt ice. You know like rock salt? Love you, Fat City Reprise

July 5, 2007 - Thursday

Kiss Us, We're Italian

So after we pulled Vivas out of the fire we started in Jay's backyard when the roman candles and briquettes tipped over together, we had a safe 4th of July. And we hope you guys did too. The Tuesday before the 4th was awesome as all hell. Dani Mari, Stillicide, and Naeemah all pulled out stellar performances in the middle of the big room (room switch for the holiday) and we got to play full on blazing electric for our Tuesday fans, some of whom have never seen us play electric before. And as the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence droped it's pants and said Hello, we got to keep on playing until almost 2:15. Huge crowd, lots of love, and if you weren't there you suck eggs. Don't miss out on this Friday when we play Grape Street as hard as we physically can. We're promising our best show yet and that may sound chock full of hubris but it's only because it totally is. If you don't come to this one, you'll be the only person in your town with a face that isn't melted. Give love get love, Fat City Reprise

Big Things with Bigger Cannons

Greetings Comrades, Well, things are heating up for sure these days and nowhere is the heat hotter than the fire burning in Mike Lowe's gutty wuts. We've officially begun our assault on New York City now that the Jeep is out of the impound lot. We, much like the Indians that "sold" Manhatten Island for beads, thought that it was God's parking spot but apparently the Parking Authority owns the streets these days. I wonder if their check to God bounced or cleared. Anyway, now that we're back in attack mode with some fresh gear, the schedule is as follows and is subject to addition. SUPER FLY JULY JULY 3rd Acoustic Night @ Grape Street (4100 Main St, Phila)10pm JULY 6th GRAPE STREET PHILADELPHIA (4100 Main St, Phila)10:30pm JULY 7th PIANO'S (158 Ludlow St, NYC) 8pm BITTER END (147 Bleecker St, NYC) 10:30pm JULY 10th Acoustic Night @ Grape Street (4100 Main St, Phila)10pm JULY 14th Doc Watson's w/Stillicide (11th and Walnut, Phila) 11pm JULY 15th World Cafe Live w/Josh Dion Band (38th and Walnut, Phila) 7:30pm JULY 17th Acoustic Night @ Grape Street (4100 Main St, Phila)10pm JULY 24th Acoustic Night @ Grape Street (4100 Main St, Phila)10pm JULY 27th Fat Baby (112 Rivington St, NYC) 9pm We're planning an August to remember as well. Thanks to everyone for all the support and we'll see you guys at the shows. If you could only go to one show all month, we'd reccomend July 6th at Grape Street. It's going to be ballin'. Nothing but Love, Fat City Reprise

Give Love, Get Love

Awesome week! Tuesday was so rocking. We had John Faye of Ike glory, Head, and Naeemah come out. It was really good. We're talking so good you have to go to the gym and church at the same time the next day because you feel so guilty. Then you buy your mom and girlfriend flowers and flail yourself with a whip. Yeah, that good. Then Thursday was so awesome. Not only did we get to rock our favorite club for our favoite radio dj (even though Jaxon only says he loves us when he's drunk), but we got to rock with the likes of Outset, John Delise, Wasted Potatoes, and our boys Chili Stu. Great night of great music. If you missed it, you suck golf balls through garden hoses. Then Saturday was so ballin. We attached a Bobby Potatoes and a U-Haul trailer to the back of our Jeep, better known as the Tank, and road that bitch straight to New York City where we did a fill in set at the Bitter End. Thanks to everyone at the BE for rocking so hard and be so damned cool. It's hard to believe you're New Yorkers (kidding kidding, we love New York). See you fucks on Tuesday when we're rocking with Rohan, Chili Stu, Anthony Renzulli Band, and Naeemah. It's going to be awesome, we're going to see who can do the most shots and still ride a unicycle with a gibbon on their back. And the Bush Administration will be handing out tabs of black acid along with leaflets such as "Christianity for Dummies" and "How to Properly Beat a Heretic." Don't miss out.

Ballin' Oates or Just Who Exactly Is This Room Registered To?
Current mood: Ballin

What's up Honies and Ballers!? The theme of the blog is ballin', as you'll soon notice, and the reason for that is that Saturday night at the TLA was absolutely ballin. There's no other word to describe it except maybe pimp but we're not even going to go there. So we'll say it was ballin.

Let's talk about the evening. There was Monster Hands, who delivered a powerful set at the cherry pop of the event. There was Brown Recluse Sings being so damned hip that it looked like each member became one giant pelvis, and kicking sonic-ass at the same time by the way. There was Anthony Renzulli Band face fucking all on lookers with their rock and Ike mopping up everyone's juices with a rope mop and then ringing it out over everyone's head with their awesome rock. Naeemah and her band frollicked through everyone's brain waves with more hooks than a tackle box and more rock than Stonehenge. There were Ganesh posters everywhere, Mike Lowe Music banners, Fat City banners, and of course blacklight 3-D Ganesh (courtesy of Dave the Artist, check our top 24) and Green Eyed Monster banner made appearances. We had the Fat City Fly Girls do their dance of rock to Take Me Dancin', thanks so much girls. We must say that was pretty much ballin as all hell, you guys rock. Powerslides, poop jokes, and an audience full of little children later, the night was over and we went off to our after party of ballin and rock.

Little did we know that hotel rooms are usually purchased for sleeping as apposed to two full food trays with sternos, a thousand cigarettes, cases of beer, liquor and champagne, and 50 people. So the people there made us move the party to our friend Marge's house, which was promptly stopped by the police. Then we went to Jay's and finished the party in the backyard. A full night of balling, in fact so much balling that the cops had to put an end to it. They said, "You guys are ballers and there's people who just can't ball around here. They want to, you know they want to but they just can't. So stop balling so much with your Miller Lite and your loud Pink Floyd and Prince devil music." More fun than a box full of firecrackers and rotten fruit.

See you guys this Tuesday with Barcelona, Head, John Faye of Ike, and Naeemah. It's free and it rocks boxes across this great nation of ours. Eddie will be there waiting for you.

Love,
The Fat City Reprise Association of People Who Ball aka F.C.R.A.O.P.W.B.

ATTN: All Those Who Rock
Current mood: hyper

Droppin them bombs on ya! It's like that son.

Wow, what a splendid evening in rock. Mountain Man pulled in a killer set, followed by an amazing performance by the Celebrities. Their bass player Krishna came in on crutches with a splint and played with no splint, no crutches, and all rock. Way to suck it up dude, that was awesome. Monster Hands put on a great show covering Pigs by Pink Floyd. If you don't know why thati s awesome go get yourself some Pink Floyd and dig in. Naeemah rocked real hard with her bad self. She totally had the entire room tapping their toes and even showed off some new stuff. The room got packed later on and we kicked it. Once again, all you clowns who didn't come missed yet another rocking Tuesday.

Don't miss out on this Saturday when we rock the Fillmore at the TLA (you know that venue we used to call the TLA but now they're calling he Fillmore at the TLA until they can just call it the Fillmore) with the likes of Naeemah, Ike, Anthony Renzulli Band, Brown Recluse Sings, Monster Hands, and of course your boys Fat City Reprise. Be there or be s-ing some d's.

Stick some love in your ear,
Fat City Reprise

Current mood: full

Hey Kiddies,

What a wonderful time we all had in New York City last night! Naeemah killed her set like a Mongol army on a village with her new drummer Josh who you'll be seeing all the fucking time because he rocked asses too. Thanks to Mike Lowe, Money Mills, Artismo, Bobbie Brains, and Mole Daddy for all the help and making it all happen from behind the scenes. And thanks to all the peoples who came along for taking the ride and for dancing and screaming and rocking like monkies. And thanks to Kenny's Castaways for having us out, you guys are awesome. We also want to give a huge thanks to everyone who came out from New York City, especially our homeboy Keith from the awesome band DIET KONG (they're on our top 24 check them out)!

This weekend we're going to be taking it easy, sitting by the pool sipping Krystal and hollering at some honies. But on Tuesday your face is going to get fucked by Naeemah, Mountain Men, the Celebrities, and Monster Hands. So lube up your ear pussies, hollow out your drinking leg, and shut the fuck up about work in the morning. We'll see you there.

Mucho Amore,

Current mood: bouncy

Hey Everyone,

We thought that this blog was alreayd posted but then for some reason it didn't go through so it;s mad late and we apologize. Thanks to Naeemah, Dephonic, Resarekt, and Protege for rocking out and totally killing it.

Now, to the Fat City family let's huddle up for a second. We better see all of you guys at this all ages album release party we're throwing at the TLA on June 16th with Naeemah, Ike, Anthony Renzulli Band, Brown Recluse Sings, and Monster Hands. It's going to be the biggest spectacle we've ever brought to the stage. Bigger then the Receding Horn Line, than the G String Section and Fat City back up singers, out of control rocking. The Long Awaited Next Blog
Current mood: Dr Doggish

Wow,

So a long time ago a weekend started and sort of never ended. We woke upearly on Friday and crammed into a three foot square space in the back of our Jeep to be moved to Lawrenceville as if being smuggled over some alien border. The gig was amazing at McGuinn's. Stillicide killed both sets that they played and we had a blast playing. We were most grasciously given a place to crash by the Stillicide family (Katie you fuckin rock) and then climbed back into our crawlspace in the back of the Jeep to roll to homebase for an hour or two and jump in to ride to Delaware. We rode five people in the back of a compact car from Philly to Wilmington. until we got the tank from James and Stacy, thank you guys so much you made our weekend so so much easier. Hours later we arrived in Dewey Beach and missed our appearance on Fox News (you can see the clip by clicking the graphic on our My Space or searching Fat City on fox29.com). We had a great time, the Rudder is always good to us, the weather was kickass, the bands rocked, and there was a bachelorette party there and of course we played it (because that's one of our income sources, playing bachelorette parties, just drop us a line and we'll give you the estimate) and everyone had a jolly good time.We headed back to home base and then played for disease awareness at the request of Ms. Sara DiPatri, a wonderful and beautiful young lady who happened to be a fan of our songs. So we went down to Delaware Avenue and played the Union Hall through the house PA speakers Shea Stadium style as a personal favor to Ms. Sara Dipatri because honestly we all have a collective crush on her beautiful little self and we wanted to win her over. After this great day full of roast beef and baked ziti was over, we come to Tuesday where Head, Rohan, and Naeemah turned out amazing sets. It was a spectacular night full of beautiful music. If you missed it, you totally suck monster balls.

I mean come on now people, it's free. What else are you doing on a Tuesday besides pulling your pud? Come out and see these acts before some big suit scoops them up and flies away with them.

Love Park was also a great day, we went out with Naeemah and her band to stir up some Lupus awareness. Over 150 million people suffer from Lupus and a lot of people don't even know what it is. Pop it into your google and get your knowledge on. Thanks to everyone who came out for a good cause even if it was just during their lunch break.

This Tuesday Naeemah, Josh Kruse, Starskream, and the Anthony Renzulli Band. Don't miss it because that would make you a square and we hate squares.

Love ya,

Fat City Reprise

You Missed Some Awesome Shit Tonight You Shithead
Current mood: thankful

Wowza,

So Alex and I, Even the Res, and Naeemah played tonight. Alex and I kicked it hardcore, they were rocking the glockenspiel and cello and definitely kicked it hardcore. Even the Res turned in a really cool and passionate performance, really ripping it up. And Naeemah, who was accompanied by Ashley Phillips, Vivas, and Jay Bones who all respectively did awesome accenting and embellishing Naeemah's awesome voice and guitar work. We played a little old set at the end of the night, no big deal. But seriously tonight was definitely one of the strongest nights we've had, performance wise everyone was spitting their A-game hardcore.

Don't think we forgot about Saturday either. What an awesome day. We got to rock out in the glory of God at Gorgas Park and see all the trees and grass. It was a gorgeous day and to everyone who came out especially Ashley and her Mom and Little Richie and Terra who came out to see us just a little too late when the time got pushed up to 11am instead of the scheduled 1pm. And Doc Watson's was awesome. Thanks to Stillicide for rocking asses and setting the whole day up. You guys definitely killed it. Thanks to everyone who came to Doc Watson's four years later to once again drink way too much and rock way to hard.

Don't miss out this Tuesday when we have Stillicide, Chili Stu, Monster Hand, and of course the wonderful Naeemah. Every week gets better. For another perspective of the evening go to the Street Team My Space to read the blog. Love everyone...

Love You Guys,
Fat City Reprise

Then we went to the Rotunda to wait in line to hump eardrums with the likes of Jealousy Curve, Ike, and Even The Res. Thanks to Ashley for the show, wonderful time. To everyone who comes to all of our shows, we love you guys. This week is no different. We're rocking out Tuesday with a SPECTACULAR line-upl. Too Many Drunk People On Stage Volume 787
April 11th, 2007

Why must we hurt ourselves in public so often on these Tuesday nights? Thanks to everyone who lied to us by clapping anyway as we hacked away at our instruments yesterday, barely keeping time. Thanks so much to Shane, John Faye and Brett, Head, and Naeemah for turning in outstanding performances as usual. Good crowd, hot music, cold beer....what a night!
Get ready for an electric sensation this Saturday...TWICE!!
First we're playing the benefit for the Manayunk 5k Run at Gorgas Park on Rt 1 in Roxborough. We start our set at like 11am so come out and chill inthe beautiful open air. Then come out to Doc Watson's Pub on beautiful 11th and Walnut for a drunken orgy at the bar where we played our first gig ever and sucked more than a Tennesee Tranny with no entry to the fanny. We're going on around 11 we think and Stillicide and Stellarbelly will be there. Keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times please...

From South
Philly to Brooklyn in 65 Minutes
March 17, 2007

Wow....
We know that we always start the blog with a list of thank-you's but this week was amazing with people coming through in the clutch. We'll go chronologically so no one is left out of the mix. Tuesday was spectacular.
Thanks to Garuda, Dani Mari, The Smyrk, Mike Fitch, and Naeemah for giving us amazing music to bob our heads to, rock our beers to, and sing all the way home. You guys rock. Eddie, Billy, and the Grapies thanks for making a house a home....or a bar deck a home as it seems to be. Now as for Saturday.... We prepared all week for our shows so we'll start with the prep work. A huge I love you to Mike Lowe and Dan Mills (of said Sticker Contest fame) for going around and getting all the sponsors, raffles donors, permits, decorum, and for organizing the event. You guys pulled off a stellar performance and we can't thank you enough. And then when Mills' plane got stuck here because of the snow we got to keep him for gameday which was also key so thanks to God for the snow. Even though at 9am, we were all out shoveling Passyunk Avenue from South to halfway down Bainbridge. Big thanks to our road dog Mole Daddy for shoveling, making 300 meatballs, selling food all day, and braving the cold. Thanks to Cheers, Latest Dish, TLA Video, Relapse Records, and Subzero for the raffle donations and thanks to Alex's Lemonade Stand and everyone who donated money towards Childhood Cancer Research. And a huge thanks again to Anthony Renzulli Band, Naeemah, Chris Arter, and Crooked Looks. We were stunned by the level of performance on everyones part, what an amazing day!
And of course thanks so so so so so so (and on and on) much to everyone who braved the weather to drink beers and dig on the music. Our fans are the toughest and the roughest. You guys are making this happen and we love you forever. And when all was said and done we went to New York.
Thanks to Arlene's for having us, what an awesome room. All the bands were killer and the crowd was great. Thanks to everyone at the Grocery who dug on the music, we really appreciated the love especially because it was our first time playing there. It's good to know we have some New Yorkers who get down with the funk. If you're reading his right now: Welcome to the family. And thanks to Joanie and Tina for coming out to New York and handing out demos. You girls kick major ass.
And we just passed out 2000th friend marker and 10,000 play marker a mere 4 days short of two months after being deleted by some hacker asshole with a tiny penis (we say this based solely on assumption because we have never seen this hackers penis in person but we figure Freud was right in this case). Thanks to everyone who promotes our music on MySpace and who keep on letting the spider web grow bigger. We'll see you guys at a million plays.
Don't miss out on tomorrow night. We're plaiyng Grape Street with Stillicide, Starskream, Calamity Jane, and our girl Naeemah. It promises to be one hell of an evening.

Spectacle at the Spectrum or Did you know they never filmed any of any Rocky movie at the actual Spectrum?
February 3rd, 2007

Hello Neighbors,
When you walk out onto the ice at the Spectrum and look down at the blue-line and know that not only have Ray Charles, Miles Davis, the Stones, Paul, Clapton, Zeppelin, Cutris Mayfield, and a million others played there but also Dr. J, Bob Clarke, Bernie Parent, Muhammed Ali, Sugay Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, and our last championships all lived and breathed, your mind is going a mile a minute. And then you realize that this is the same blue line that the Flyers sent the Ruskies back to Moscow with their tales between their legs from, not just local history but world history. What an awesome place.
Thanks to Adela for the hospitality, Bullies for the food, Tricia Long for the love, WMMR for the recommendation, That Rob for the sonic perfection on such short notice, the Phantoms, and the whole crew that helped us get our crap on the back of a big old truck. And you know we can't go without thanking Mike Lowe. Not only did we get to play but we got to check each other into the boards all afternoon during soundcheck.
We've got a big old show coming up at the Underground this weekend and it's ALL AGES!!! That's right all you kids and toddlers, come out to 40th and Spruce for a nice early show where we'll be bringing down the house with non-curse words like darn and friggin. And don't miss out on this Tuesday featuring Souls on Ice, Noveau Riche, Naeemah, and Mike Fitch. See you guys this week.
Have a snappy today!

Don't forget to love each other,
Fat City Reprise

The Trocadero or I'll See You on the Beach
January 27th, 2007

Hey Soldiers,
Wow, to all the fans who came out screaming and dancing at the Troc thanks to you first and foremost. We love you guys, you're why we do everything we do. Thanks to Quest, Naeemah, Anthony Renzulli Band, Preston Swift, and Mary-Anne at the Troc for everything. Thanks to Steve for the pizzas, the crew Bobbie, Mole, Buttslammer, Michael, Roxy, Dave the Artist, and everyone who bought or sold tickets. A flawless performance. And of course, thanks to Mike Lowe who organized and operated this whole mess of an operation. D-Day was a complete success and we couldn't have stormed the beach with a finer group of soldiers.
This week TRIPLE HEADER. Tuesday at the Grape, Thursday at Sweeney's, and Friday at the Phantom's Game where we'll play center ice at the Spectrum after the game. Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, and Tommy Gunn will be dedicating a wreathe to the memory of the late great Apollo Creed at intermission, don't miss out.
And don't forget to tell all your friends to add us on MySpace, we got hacked and deleted and are now bomed out and depleted. Send your friends....

Love you more,
Fat City Reprise

Achoooooo!
January 17th, 2007

Hey All,
What a great week.
Thursday night was an absolute blast. Thanks to Jaxon, WMMR, Grape Street, and ABC News, who taped the show for an upcoming piece on Fat City Reprizzle to come out sometime in February. Head, Even the Res, Polymer, and Da Resarekt wer'e all awesome and everyone who came out you're the
balls (Thanks Phil).
Tueday was even cooler with Anthony Renzulli, Mike Fitch, Naeemah, Micah Clarke, and Josh Kruse all pulling out stellar performances. We were all sick and snotty so thanks to everyone who put up with our crankiness. Between Jay working 6 days a week, Frankie giving up drinking, and Nick trying not smoke cigarettes on top of four sinus infections we appreciate the patience. We'll see all you pirate hookers this Tuesday at the Grape and don't forget that you've got less than TEN DAYS to buy your Trocadero tickets or you'll be sitting at home diddling you thumbs while one of the greatest rock extravaganzas of all times is erupting on 10th and Arch. Don't be squares....

We'd Give You a Hug But We're Sick,
Fat City Reprise

Toasted Tuesday Number15
January 10, 2007

Hey Kids,
Tuesday was our official Festivale de Quince, or the Party for our Fifteenth Tuesday at the Grape Street. Thanks to the hoards of people who came out to party with us and a bigger thanks to Mike Fitch (Happy Birthday dude), Even the Res, Head, and Naeemah. You guys rock. Ed and Billy as always we love you and thanks to Unkie Jaxon for coming out to show his support. Speaking of Unkie Jaxon, we'll be playing his weekly event, the WMMR Thursday Night Rock Show, this Thursday (the 11th) with Even the Res, Polymer, Da Resarekt, and Head in a cavalcade of stars seldom seen on the scene. Word on the street is that ABC news will be there to tape our first three songs so don't even think about missing this one. We'll be swinging from the rafters all night.
And those Troc tickets are almost all spoken for, we'll be selling them this Thursday. Think about it, Fat City Reprise with the Fat City Orchestra, the Fat City ettes, and Louie Vega. Primo good time Mr. Johnny Sir.

Your Boys,
Fat City Reprise

Music for Megan
January 6th, 2007

Hey Cats and Kitties,
Wow...we've never been to Radnor before but man did we feel at home. Thanks to Kelly for getting us involved and educated on the details, the concert planning commitee, Radnor High, and everyone who came out and made us feel so at home and welcome. The fans there were great and the bands all played so well. Pawnshop Roses, Lelia Broussard, Jealousy Curve, and Pepper's Ghost all tore the rafters down. And all the proceeds went to kids in Kensington who want to make music but don't have the money to buy instruments and we're always more than happy to help out some Philly kids.
January 2nd was a blast too. Eddie and Billy were pouring some heavy hands and Da Resarekt, Quest, Mike Fitch, and Naheema all laid it down hardcore. Thanks to everyone who extended their drinking binge all the way into January 2nd. Happy 2007 everyone.
Now it's time to talk about kicking it. Not only are we rocking this Tuesday at the Grape with Head, Even the Res, Mike Fitch, and Naheema but we're rocking out on Thursday at the Grape WMMR night with Even The Res, Head, Da Resarekt, and Polymer. We're going to kick it so hard we're putting a hole in it. In fact, we may even break a toe or two.
And don't forget that we'll be at the Troc with Preston Swift, Anthony Renzulli Band, Naheema, and Quest. Tickets are $13.00 and don't you dare not come. Jay's selling tickets like crack so hurry and get yours on a Tuesday or from a band member. We're pullin gimmicks straight out of our asses for this ALL AGES show so don't miss it.
